About Us

JDA is the premier youth diving program in Bloomington, IN, located on the campus of Indiana University. Our program was started by Drew and Jenny Johansen with the goal of growing the sport of diving in our community. Drew and Jenny have built three of the most successful and long-lasting youth diving programs in the U.S. with countless junior and senior national titles. Today, they are located in Bloomington with the goal of continuing to send young student athletes to college, prepared to succeed in all aspects of their lives. With a strong coaching staff behind them, Drew and Jenny are excited to develop champions in and out of the pool here in Bloomington!

To provide a fun and encouraging environment for young athletes to reach their personal best in diving while teaching them lessons and skills to develop into impactful leaders of our community. We follow the philosophy of Olympism - blending sport with culture and education. Olympism seeks to create a way of life based on the joy of effort, the educational value of good example, social responsibility, and respect for universal fundamental ethical principles.
